Rhonda Tower-SiddensDr. Tower-Siddens graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1992. In 1998, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a leadership/management focus from The University of Texas at Tyler. In 2014, Dr. Tower-Siddens earned a Doctoral of Philosophy in Education with a Nursing Education specialization from Capella University.

Dr. Tower-Siddens began her nursing career in acute care. Throughout her nursing career, she has worked in various specialties including cardiology, critical care, maternal-child, pediatrics, neonatal ICU, post anesthesia care, and case management. Previous academic positions were held at McLennan Community College as an Associate Professor where she taught throughout the Associate Degree Nursing curriculum. Dr. Tower-Siddens chaired multiple committees that lead to program and policy development as well as co-authoring a new concept-based curriculum for the Associate Degree Program. In addition, she held the Clinical Coordinator position, which facilitated clinical experiences, developed clinical partnerships with community organizations, and developed innovative clinical teaching opportunities for over 300 students in the Associate Degree in Nursing and Vocational Nursing programs.
