Degree and Minimum GPA· A bachelor’s degree from a recognized four-year university and a minimum GPA of 3.0
Transcripts· Official transcripts from all prior institutions
Official GMAT/GRE· Not required
Additional Requirements· Minimum of two years of healthcare experience*
· Two letters of recommendation
· CV or resume
· Personal statement discussing your interest in the program and any relevant experience
· $75 application fee
*Applicants without previous healthcare experience will need to complete additional prerequisite work and an internship.

This MHA program is currently engaged in the process of applying for candidacy with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). CAHME is a programmatic accrediting agency that conducts accreditation activities for professional programs in healthcare management at the master’s level from degree-granting institutions. CAHME is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

International Students

The online Master of Health Administration is not currently accepting international students.

Transfer Credit

You can transfer up to six credits into the Master of Health Administration program at Sacred Heart University. Please contact our enrollment team with any questions.
