Dr. Testut received her PhD in Nursing Education from Capella University, an MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Hartford, a BS from Excelsior College, and an ADN from St. Vincent’s College of Nursing. Dr. Testut’s areas of expertise and scholarly research include community health nursing, geriatrics, and work/role transition of the Registered Nurse. Her past positions include Assistant Professor of Nursing at Southern CT State University (SCSU) as well as Director of Quality Improvement and Staff Development at a local homecare agency. During her time at SCSU, she was nominated for the J. Philip Smith Award for Outstanding Teaching during each academic year she taught.
Dr. Testut is also a nurse consultant for community agencies specializing in quality assurance and staff development.
